PwC Grants

PwC New Programming and Professional Development Grants

The PwC New Programming and Professional Development Grants were created to support recognized student groups and promote belonging and engagement efforts through student involvement at the University of Notre Dame. In this page, you will find details about the grants and the application instructions for each of them.
 
If you are a representative of a recognized student group who has applied for a PwC Grant, allow seven to ten (7-10) business days to get updates or a decision on your application. Please note that if your student group is awarded a PwC Grant, you will be ineligible to receive additional funding for your program from the offices housed in the Sister Thea Bowman Center (Multicultural Student Programs and Services, the Gender Relations Center, and the Office of Student Enrichment). Additionally, failure to complete the PwC Grant Feedback Form following your event could affect the eligibility of your student group for future grant applications during the academic year.

PwC New Programming Grant

The Sister Thea Bowman Center offers PwC New Programming Grants to assist recognized student groups hosting novel events that contribute to the University’s efforts of supporting and promoting belonging and engagement. These grants are designed to enhance collaboration and special consideration will be given to programs sponsored by two or more recognized student groups. Grants will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and will have rolling applications throughout the academic year. The funds available will be distributed equally across the fall and spring semesters to ensure availability throughout the academic year.

Cap amount per grant for new programs: $2,000.00

Requirements:

  • The event must be hosted on campus and open and accessible to the Notre Dame campus community.

  • Special consideration will be given to events hosted by two or more recognized student groups.

  • The event must be a one time event, not part of a series.

  • The application must be submitted at least three (3) weeks prior to the event.

  • An NDCentral request must be already submitted and in the process of being approved when submitting the PwC grant application.

  • Complete and submit the PwC Programming Grant budget form, including details of additional funding expected from other University departments and funds already allocated by the student group(s) for the event.

  • Meet with Ana Reyes Lam, Assistant Director for the Sister Thea Bowman Center, to discuss your program details and plan. Schedule your meeting here.

  • The funds will be deposited to the student groups account and must be used to cover the expenses of the event, including food, entertainment, promotional materials, supplies, etc.

    • No funding will be provided for giveaway/drawing prizes at events.

PwC Programming Grant Application 2026-27. 

PwC Professional Development Grant

The PwC Professional Development Grants are available to student groups who have shown support for and/or a commitment to belonging and engagement efforts at the University of Notre Dame. These grants must be used for activities that will enhance the professional development of the members of recognized student groups, such as networking events, attendance at conferences, hosting a guest speaker, hosting lectures that support the student group’s mission, etc. Grants cannot be used to pay membership dues to an association and/or organization. Grants will be available on a first-come, first-served basis and will have rolling applications throughout the academic year. The funds available will be distributed equally across the fall and spring semesters to ensure availability throughout the academic year.

Cap amount per grant for programs requiring travel: $2,000.00
Cap amount per grant for professional development workshops or lectures, guest speakers, and networking events: $1,250.00

Requirements:

  • The grant must be used for activities that enhance the professional development of multiple members of the student group (networking, conference attendance, guest speakers, etc.)

  • The grant application must be submitted at least three (3) weeks prior to the event or program if it is hosted on campus, and four (4) weeks prior if it involves travel away from campus.

  • An NDCentral request must already be submitted and in the process of being approved when submitting the PwC grant application.

  • Complete and submit the PwC Professional Development Grant budget form, including details of funding expected from other University departments and funds already allocated by the student group for the professional development opportunity.

    • Please note: PwC grant funds cannot be used to pay membership dues to an association and/or organization.

PwC Grants Feedback Form

If your student group has received a PwC Programming or Professional Development Grant grant, we ask that you complete the PwC Grant Feedback Form following your event to share about your experience with us. Note that failure to submit this form could affect your student group’s eligibility to receive any other grants during the 2026-27 academic year.
